Hey y’all! I’m Eric Gates – proud Texan, single dad, and the founder of this little corner of the internet we now call home.

I started this store not just as a business venture, but as a way to build something lasting for my two amazing daughters, Natalie and Abigail. They’re the real reason behind everything I do. As a single dad, I’ve learned how to juggle a lot – parenting, work, and dreaming up a better future – all while still making time for long drives through the Texas Hill Country and spontaneous hikes under wide blue skies.

Our life isn’t always easy, but it’s full of love, laughter, and resilience. That spirit is what I’ve poured into this shop. Every product you see here is chosen with intention – whether it’s practical, inspiring, or just plain fun, I want it to reflect the values we live by: quality, honesty, and a touch of adventure.

When we’re not working on the shop, you’ll find us exploring trails, fishing on weekends, or grabbing milkshakes after school. Texas has always been home, and I’m proud to raise my girls with the same grit and warmth this great state is known for.
